Welcome to Gigi's Pocket Pomeranians! With a lifelong dedication to caring for these adorable little companions, I have developed a deep-seated passion for breeding Pomeranians that are not only healthy but also well-socialized and meet Breed Standards.
My journey began in my childhood, inspired by my grandmother who bred these charming dogs, and it has evolved into a fulfilling commitment to their care and wellbeing.
Having worked as a vet tech for 15 years, I spent a significant amount of time engaging in rescue work with various breeds and species, which has given me a unique perspective on the importance of nurturing pets within a loving environment.
At Gigi's Pocket Pomeranians, we take great pride in the fact that all of our dogs are raised in a warm and nurturing setting. We understand the significance of early training which is why we start pee pad training before the puppies are weaned, laying a solid foundation for their future as house-trained companions.
Socialization is another critical aspect of our breeding philosophy. We prioritize socializing all of our puppies from the moment they are born, allowing them to become acclimated to different environments and people, which helps them adapt seamlessly to their new homes.
Our breeding program is built on the core principles of health, structure, and temperament, with a particular emphasis on health as our primary concern. We conduct Embark DNA health testing on all of our breeders before they are welcomed into our breeding program, and we strictly follow the AKC recommended Breed CHIC testing guidelines when they reach appropriate age.
